Banjar Hot springs: The Holy Hot Springs used by the Kings & Kingdom Families in Bali

But all of them have their own fountains with the shape of dragons' heads. Banjar Hot springs are located in Banjar Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency. It takes more than two hours to get to this hot spring from Denpasar. There are some other hot springs in Bali, like Toya Devasya Hor Spring and Batur Hot Spring, but most of them have a more modern concept because they were newly built or developed. While Banjar Hot springs were built hundreds of years ago, so it has a more traditional concept and architecture. In Banjar Hot springs, you will see three different pools with different size and depth. The first pool is the most kids friendly pool. It is only 1 meter in depth, but it still big enough to swim. It has several fountains that are functioned as showers. The second pool is right below the first pool. This is the biggest pool in the hot spring. It also has various depth, from 1 meter to 2 meters, so you need to be careful if you bring your kid into this pool. The second pool also has several showers. All of the showers are in shape of dragon heads. You can get a soft massage for your head and shoulders by standing under the shower. The third pool is the smallest, yet it has the biggest showers. Even though it only has three showers, but the water is strong enough to give you a back massage.
