First and excellent Bali Trip

This is my first time visit Bali. Gusti is a very nice and kind guide and driver, we have a great trip with him. He was punctuality always pick up us in time. We have took trips to uluwatu, Nusa Penida, Kintamani Volcano...Bali is such a beautiful place, hope to visit again soon.

Best guide EVER!

We booked with Lokabali out of the blue just because we liked the Flyer from the airport and not reading any reviews before. The guide Gusti picked us up on time, had a spotless and very comfortable car and drove very smooth.After we told him what we would like to do and what not Gusti made some suggestions. Some of which we followed, some not. Right after the first hour with him we decided to also book him for the next day. Gusti did not show us Bali. He made us feel it! It was such a wonderful experience and he was so great in knowing what we would like and how that we just told him to take us where he thought and not listen to our plan. Of course he still listened but made slight changes in a subtle way so that we almost didn't notice.When we come back to Bali there will be no other choice than Gusti. His English. His knowledge, his kindness and his way of literally guiding you is unmatched. Suksma Gusti!

Our guides in Bali

Arriving in Bali, we took the first available brochure with tours and did not regret it. The prices are good - on average, a little higher ($ 3-6) than the options that were found on the Internet later, but much lower than those offered by the tour operator (2 times). With Lokabali and driver Gusti visited rafting, Ubud, volcano, waterfalls, Taman-Ayun, Tanah Lot, Ulu Watu, rice terraces. It was unusual for us that we went on excursions alone, not in a group. I really liked that almost everywhere there was enough time - there was no need to run, rush. Gusti is a great driver. It was calm with him both in heavy traffic and on a mountain serpentine. We asked him all the way about different statues, plants and facts. He kindly answered, told legends and customs. Despite my not very good English, we found a common language. The brochure does not indicate what you need to take with you for each of the tours, it is better to always check this by phone when ordering a tour. Perhaps, if you want to know more information, but do not speak English well, then it would be convenient to go to "cultural" programs (temples, sacred places) with a Russian-speaking guide who would tell "how ships plow ..."))) And so Gusti in front of each place gave brief information about what it was, when it was built. In those places where he accompanied us, he always offered to take a joint photo with my husband.
