Last min Bali vacation

We picked up the brochure at the airport upon arrival and Gusti provided fast and relevant information and responses. He is also very punctual and always there waiting for us when we arrive at the lobby. His vehicle is very clean and his additional attention to ensuring that his partners on our island tours will be there to pick us up and not having us to search for the guides is really thoughtful. Will recommend his services especially if you want to just have fun and not to worry about the administrative issues.

Great tours provided

We found the Lokabali leaflet amongst others at the airport and opted for 2 of their trips during our stay. First, from Ubud, we did a full day tour (ref: LBT20) of some of the North of Bali, including Taman Ayun (royal family temple), coffee plantation (to find out about the famous Luwak coffee!), Ulun Danu temple (on lake Beratan in the mountains), Jatiluwih (UNESCO World heritage site of rice fields AMAZING) and ending at Tanah Lot temple for sunset (ruined by heavy rain but you can't control nature!). With lunch and dinner included and Leo driving us, we had a great day and all for $55/person. We then moved to Sanur and did a 2nd full day tour (ref:LBT09 $50/person) in the South of the island which included Snorkerling, a glass bottom boat trip to Turtle island (a bit of a disappointment) followed by a quick lunch before heading off to Nusa Dua. This is where we saw the blow hole on the cliffs and visited one of the nicest beaches we have seen during our holiday. Following this, we headed to Uluwatu temple (AMAZING but beware the monkeys!) before ending for dinner at Jimbaran beach to watch the sunset. Gusti was our driver/guide for the day and we echo all the previous reviews in that his careful driving, extensive knowledge, helpful and useful information, friendliness and general care for us throughout the day made this a memorable trip. Thanks Gusti. We only did the 2 tours and there are many more on offer, but I would not hesitate in recommending Lokabali (and especially Gusti) as your tour organiser whilst on Bali.

Gusti is The Man!!

My Hubby & I have visited Bali twice in the past 18 months, and my brother suggested we try using Gusti as our guide on the first trip. He had spent many a holiday under Gusti's wing. Wow! We could not have asked for a kinder, more honest, organised or informed person to show us the sites and wonders of Bali. We had no idea what to do or where to go, and he made everything so easy. Nothing was too much trouble, and even planning dates, trips and pick-ups from Australia was never an issue. We loved it so much we found ourselves booking a second trip the following year. This year having a little more knowledge we knew what we wanted to do and asked Gusti to make it happen. Which he did, and totally exceeded any expectations we had! Gusti isn't just a tour guide, he is a mate. Nothing is too much trouble, and we sincerely hope that people discover what a pleasure Bali is when they see it with you!! We have recommended Gusti and Loka Bali Tour to friends, and they too have been blown away by these guys. Thank you again Gusti. For everything xx

Memorable trip

Our trip on Bali was amazing and full of memorable things and I am glad to meet there Gusti who was our driver and guide for travelling through the island. He helped us to combine appropriate programs, take photos, communicate with local people, told about interested things related to Bali and always was positive at any time (even at 2 am when we went to Batur volcano). Thank you very much Gusti for this really memorable trip!

Best tour guide and new friend

If you are looking for the best guide and a real locale experience in Bali Gusti is the right guy for you. He helped us during all our trip, reaching the harbour, ubud, the airport. During the ride we had the best talk, about our lives, about his beautiful country and culture, we Learned a lot from him. He his the most kind person and we found a new friend. Best guide EVER!

We booked with Lokabali out of the blue just because we liked the Flyer from the airport and not reading any reviews before. The guide Gusti picked us up on time, had a spotless and very comfortable car and drove very smooth.After we told him what we would like to do and what not Gusti made some suggestions. Some of which we followed, some not. Right after the first hour with him we decided to also book him for the next day. Gusti did not show us Bali. He made us feel it! It was such a wonderful experience and he was so great in knowing what we would like and how that we just told him to take us where he thought and not listen to our plan. Of course he still listened but made slight changes in a subtle way so that we almost didn't notice.When we come back to Bali there will be no other choice than Gusti. His English. His knowledge, his kindness and his way of literally guiding you is unmatched. Suksma Gusti!
