Things to do

This Bali Half Day Tour will start at 1 pm from one of the following places: Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Sanur, or Canggu. If you are not staying in one of those areas, please inform us of your location in details.

Please note that this package is for at least 2 persons. If you want to book this package for one person only, you have to pay an additional charge of 50% of the cost.

You will be picked up at your hotel lobby on time. The first destination to visit is Ubud Art Village. There are some art villages that can be visited such as Batu Bulan, Celuk, and Batuan village. In Batu Bulan village, you can find Batik. Here you can see how Batik is produced. In Celuk village, you will find gold and silver jewelry. This is a famous place that produces jewelry in Bali. The last village that belongs to the art village is Batuan or Lotunduh village. This village is well known as the village that produces artistic paintings.

After visiting the art village, you will visit Batuan Temple. This temple is located near the art village, so it takes only 15 minutes to get there. This is one of the temples that has a traditional architecture that is still maintained by the local people. In this temple, You will find some ancient statues, high gates, and the beautiful architecture of the temple.

The next place to visit is the Tegenungan Waterfall Ubud. This famous waterfall is always visited by local and international tourists. You have to walk to get to the waterfall. You will see the natural waterfall provided by nature in the green landscape. You will also see a temple and a natural spring.

After visiting Tegenungan Waterfall, the next destination to visit is Goa Gajah Temple. This is another temple in Ubud that serves you a beautiful temple architecture. The atmosphere here is very fresh because there are a lot of trees planted around the location.

The last destination to visit is Batubulan to see Batubulan Kecak Fire Dance. This is the last attraction that will close your day. The dance is performed by more than 10 people. You will enjoy watching this dance. Before getting back to your hotel, you will have your dinner, Indonesian food.

Great tours provided

We found the Lokabali leaflet amongst others at the airport and opted for 2 of their trips during our stay. First, from Ubud, we did a full day tour (ref: LBT20) of some of the North of Bali, including Taman Ayun (royal family temple), coffee plantation (to find out about the famous Luwak coffee!), Ulun Danu temple (on lake Beratan in the mountains), Jatiluwih (UNESCO World heritage site of rice fields AMAZING) and ending at Tanah Lot temple for sunset (ruined by heavy rain but you can't control nature!). With lunch and dinner included and Leo driving us, we had a great day and all for $55/person. We then moved to Sanur and did a 2nd full day tour (ref:LBT09 $50/person) in the South of the island which included Snorkerling, a glass bottom boat trip to Turtle island (a bit of a disappointment) followed by a quick lunch before heading off to Nusa Dua. This is where we saw the blow hole on the cliffs and visited one of the nicest beaches we have seen during our holiday. Following this, we headed to Uluwatu temple (AMAZING but beware the monkeys!) before ending for dinner at Jimbaran beach to watch the sunset. Gusti was our driver/guide for the day and we echo all the previous reviews in that his careful driving, extensive knowledge, helpful and useful information, friendliness and general care for us throughout the day made this a memorable trip. Thanks Gusti. We only did the 2 tours and there are many more on offer, but I would not hesitate in recommending Lokabali (and especially Gusti) as your tour organiser whilst on Bali.

Awesome Bali Trip

Last summer, My wife and I visited 5 Asian countries and Bali was our favorite. The weather was great, the people were really nice there. My tour guide "Gusti" is AWESOME. He brought the whole experience to a different level. Request for him if you can, you will not regret it. Gusti will suggest on places to visit, but you make the final plans for your day. He is always on time, picks you up in the morning, and takes you to where ever you want to go. I suggest you plan the night before and let your tour guide know and he can plan ahead and get you some good deals. Ask to go to the rice terraces and the volcano up in the mountains. Its so beautiful up there.

Seminyak to ubud tour

Gusti was the best driver and tour guide ever! He was super friendly and always willing to help. He picked us up in Seminyak and took us to the most beautiful places in Ubud. Best Bali tour ever!

My friends and I had the pleasure of having Gusti as our guide today. The car was extremely clean and comfortable, even for a group of seven (and had great music too!) Our tour included snorkelling, a visit to Turtle Island, Uluwatu temple, Dreamland Beach and Jimbaran Bay, all of which were fantastic! Gusti guided us around Bali with great knowledge and was an absolute legend. Would highly recommend.

Great Experience.

My husband and I decided to rent a car for our tour in Bali for our honeymoon from a random brochure we got from the airport. We chose Loka bali and immediately contact the number on the brochure, the next day we met our driver Gusti who was very knowledgeable about the island and can speak good english. We had a good day with him and decided to take another tour with Loka Bali. It was a great experience and grateful for our driver for being so kind. We’ll definitely go back and hire this agency again.

Bali Full Day Tour

It was great experience. There is literally nothing bad to write. Driver came on time hes English was on high level enough to chat with during all day. He had a good knowledge of the Island not only about places where we stopped but also about moat of thing we passed by. I was picked from my hotel in Jimbaran as we arrived early my first stop was Batik factory followed by Barong dance, gold&silver smiths, art village, woodcarving village (I skipped), Tegenungan waterfall, Tegallalang rice terraces and Kintamani where I had lunch in front of a Batur volcano - visibility would be better if I arrived later in a year. Lunch was form of a Buffet and very tasty. After that we continued to coffee plantation where I get to taste some amazing tea and coffee. My last stop was at the Holly spring temple where you can cleanse your body and soul and connect to spirit of the water. People in there will tell you that it does not matter what is your religion you should do the procedure and address it to your god. One amazing day with a lot of beautiful memories.

What an amazing experience in Bali and even more amazing because of our awesome tour guide and driver Gusti. My partner and his family were there and also myself. Gusti planned the trips for us as it was our first time in Bali and he was very attentive to our needs, he did an awesome job and his service was exceptional, words cannot express how grateful we are to have him take care of us. I highly recommend him to anyone travelling to Bali as you will not be disappointed. First time in Bali and definitely not the last. From getting picked up from the Airport to everything in between no faults.

Our guides in Bali

Arriving in Bali, we took the first available brochure with tours and did not regret it. The prices are good - on average, a little higher ($ 3-6) than the options that were found on the Internet later, but much lower than those offered by the tour operator (2 times). With Lokabali and driver Gusti visited rafting, Ubud, volcano, waterfalls, Taman-Ayun, Tanah Lot, Ulu Watu, rice terraces. It was unusual for us that we went on excursions alone, not in a group. I really liked that almost everywhere there was enough time - there was no need to run, rush. Gusti is a great driver. It was calm with him both in heavy traffic and on a mountain serpentine. We asked him all the way about different statues, plants and facts. He kindly answered, told legends and customs. Despite my not very good English, we found a common language. The brochure does not indicate what you need to take with you for each of the tours, it is better to always check this by phone when ordering a tour. Perhaps, if you want to know more information, but do not speak English well, then it would be convenient to go to "cultural" programs (temples, sacred places) with a Russian-speaking guide who would tell "how ships plow ..."))) And so Gusti in front of each place gave brief information about what it was, when it was built. In those places where he accompanied us, he always offered to take a joint photo with my husband. We are glad that we used the services of Lokabali. We wish them good luck, keep the brand in this service!

You can cancel under the following conditions:

If you confirm the cancellation of the service 48 hours in advance, we will refund the full payment.
However, if you confirm the cancellation in less than 48 hours, then we will only refund 50% of the total service fee previously booked.
